NAME: Syloren Dawnfury RACE: Blood Elf CLASS: Hunter NICKNAME: Lore ------- FAMILY ------- FATHER: Veritas Dawnfury MOTHER: Amaliya Dawnfury nee Flarestrike BROTHER(S): Mirren Dawnfury (younger - deceased) SISTER(S): Teina Dawnfury (older), Meiryne Dawnfury (younger) OTHER: Amaryne Flarestrike, cousin ----------- BACKGROUND ----------- The Dawnfury family have been Hunters for as far back as anyone can remember, and have served the throne with honor and distinction; in fact, back when hunting was a fashionable pasttime for royalty, the Royal Huntmaster was almost always a member of the Dawnfury family. And even now that hunting has fallen from favor, the Dawnfury House serves loyally and without question. Even though the Flarestrike family is ashamed of the hunters within its own ranks, it didn't balk when one of its daughters, Amaliya, agreed to marry Veritas Dawnfury, then the heir to the family's name. Now Veritas is the Dawnfury patriarch, and his children carry the name proudly. Teina Dawnfury, the eldest of his children, is in the Outlands, carrying out Kael'Thas's orders dutifully; his youngest son, Mirren, was killed during the Scourge attack. His middle child and the oldest of his sons, Syloren, is already a fine hunter, and eager to follow in his older sister's footsteps and serve their prince directly. The entire family's blind loyalty aside, Syloren isn't all that idealistic. Honor, Loyalty, Courage, Compassion and other such virtues are all well and good, but in the end, you do what you have to do to survive. "Lore" is equally at home in the forests and in Polite Society; although he'd rather get straight to the point, he can equivocate and dance around the truth with the best nobles. To him, his pets are tools as much as his arrows, and while they should be given the very best care, if they're underperforming or have outlived their usefulness, then there's little point in keeping them. Syloren would look for a woman loyal to the throne in a wife, but his head is easily turned by a pretty face. He's had a lot of lovers, but he's not one to kiss and tell, nor does he boast of his conquests. He enjoys a glass of wine with dinner, but never drinks to excess, whether celebrating or commiserating. He doesn't stay down long, believing in "getting right back on the horse", and he preaches what he practices. This makes him come off as a tad insensitive at times.
