MJ's Address Book

An "x" indicates I am currently interacting with them for the first time in a not-yet-completed thread. Otherwise, the total only indicates COMPLETED threads where significant interaction occurred.

• Astanai - A very polite Gryphon lady. MJ finds her genteel and appreciates some of the insight she's given her on Gryphons.
• Cybele [2/5] - She...she says she's a witch? Like in the storybooks? MJ isn't sure if she believes that or not. Whatever; she seems polite enough, if a little blunt, but then she's new here, and some disorientation is to be expected. MJ considers Ms. Cybele's acclimation to the Weyrd to be sort of her new pet project, regarding it as repaying the Weyrd's generosity to her when she was the newbie around here.
• F'nerdathe [3/5] - A decent, hard-working dog-man from a very interesting culture, a wonderful conversationalist, and chosen by a Unicorn to bond with; therefore, he is a Good and Pure and Righteous Person even if he's not human.
• Hibashira Himoto [2/5] - Newly PIFfed "Demon Lord", but very polite for all that he's supposedly a "demon". MJ's only knowledge of demons comes from what little she can remember from the stories of those wacky old cults, and he's been very nice to her, as well as encouraging of her efforts with the Going-Home Machine. Comes from an unenlightened place that doesn't yet know Science, the poor guy.
• Jerrick [x/5] - Not much is known yet.
• Kaikuro Raoson [4/5] - He looks like he's in need of a doctor, some sleep, and quite a few good meals (in no particular order). He seems nervous a lot, but has a torch built into his eyepatch, so there is that. Prone to the occasional Pointlessly Macho Fit, apparently. He seems to have disappeared, which probably means he got PIFfed away again, presumably home? MJ kind of envies him that.
• Kaamil Se'ultun [1/5] - A very polite lad with pink hair from a world not at all like Terra. She doesn't know him well yet, but he seems nice and well worth getting to know better.
• Kallisto [x/5] - Not much is known yet.
• Kaskaskia [5/5] - MJ's closest friend on Planet, other than her bonds. She doesn't hang out with Kas so much as keep crossing paths with her, either around the inn or out on various adventures. She's strong, and a capable warrior; MJ thinks she's too hard on people sometimes, but likes her nonetheless. She knows that Kas lectures and snaps out of concern.
• Leonard Goldstein [3/5] - This is the ginger boy she keeps seeing and not really interacting much with. He's always seemed like a decent, forthright young man to her, and getting to know him has proven this out. His mind kinda snapped back there in that warehouse, but she can't blame him for that, especially given her own reactions to all of that. (MJ also suspects Tasha and Leonard like each other, but she's keeping mum about it... for now.)
• Mordecai Stankic [2/5] - OMG IT'S A BABY SAINT. Awww, he's a cutie, so long as he's not angry enough to attempt smiting her into eternal oblivion. In the end, he's still just a young child; MJ's quite used to spoiling children, and she is a sucker for cute things. Mordy is infinitely adorable, so of course she adores him.
• Nate Levitt [2/5] - Her first inclination was that he was simple-minded. She's revised her opinion slightly to believing that he is younger than he claims to be, but precocious for his age. He at least has an interest in science, and that may prove useful. If nothing else, he seems like he'd be hopeless on his own, so she's keeping an eye out for him. And hey, he's good at distracting camels.
• Pelgaia [2/5] - A Hellenian naiad?! MJ is intrigued. She appreciates Pelgaia's straightforward nature and certainly understands her insistence on good manners. She also thinks Ms. Pelgaia is quite striking to look at, but she's keeping that to herself. Pel's helpful without being condescending, and seems to be new around here as well. MJ is quite mindful to be careful about theological differences. The occasional haughtiness doesn't bother someone used to working with Mad Scientists - they're typically pretty arrogant themselves. Pel's phoenix, Zephyrus, is quite the singer.
• Reverend [1/5] - He's not rude but he's not exactly friendly? Also, "Mr. Reverend" just sounds...weird.
• Ssin'urn [2/5] - A dark person! With white hair! How unusual! MJ's never met a dark person before! Oh, and this one's still learning Albian. Apparently she's from some place where they all live in underground caverns and might possibly attack each other at any moment. How sad!
• Tasha [2/5] - The shadow-girl that MJ's seen in the Unicorn & Barghest Bondings. Apparently, she's from this "Earth" place that seems to be an analogue to Terra - but she's from the FUTURE! She works with a local medical doctor and that speaks well of her; MJ finds her quite nice. (MJ also suspects Tasha and Leonard like each other, but she's keeping mum about it... for now.)
• Thane Hampden [1/5] - Sweet, delusional boy who claims his giant hunk of metal can FLY. Still, he's kind and courteous, and that goes a long way with MJ.
• Theodosia Sharpe [4/5] - MJ really likes Ms. Sharpe. Theodosia seems to be a scientist and inventor (!!) first and a "people person" second (or third? distant third?), which isn't ideal, but after working for a Rather Mad Scientist, MJ can definitely adapt. Ms. Sharpe gets a lot of latitude from MJ because, in Albion, one is wise to indulge most whims of Mad Scientists, lest one find oneself the unintentional volunteer to test said-Mad Scientist's latest death ray. She wants to learn from Theodosia - if not science, then at least find out how to get herself a pair of those very nice goggles. AND SHE HAS A UNICORN, so it is IMPOSSIBLE that she's a bad person (in MJ's eyes).
• Unit 23 [x/5] - An automaton? Beyond that not much else is known yet.
• Ursula [1/5] - Very nice girl who tells exciting stories and apparently knows Alice's Adventures Underground!
• Vex [1/5] - It's a foxgirl. Hullo there. Oh, and goodbye again.
